St. Martin’s Engineering College (SMEC) initiated its Pre-placement Orientation Program for upcoming 2020 passing out batch of Engineering and Management on 20th April 2019. The program was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. P. Santosh Kumar Patra who emphasized the importance of a good mentor in a student’s career

Mr. M.A. Rasheed, Group Head – Corporate HR, My Home Group was invited as a key-note speaker who spoke on mental toughness, aspiring leadership skills and, skills for 21st century. Another invitee, Mr. Abhijeet Ravuri, Senior Software Engineer, Adobe and also an alumnus of SMEC shared his experiences of wonderful journey from Campus-to-Corporate with the upcoming placement aspirants. He focused on company specific training and coding skills of the students.

The orientation program was attended by Chairman Sri M. Laxman Reddy and Executive Director Sri G. Chandrasekhar Yadav. The program was conceptualized and organized by Mr. P. Kiran Kumar, Director - Corporate Relations, Dr. Piyush Kumar Soni, Director – Training and Placements and Mrs. S. Girija, Placement – Advisor.
